In the article called Boy Arrested for Alleged Threats at Fountain High School by the associated press, what matters in this article is getting the young man the help. The article stated that after sending out threat TXT messages and calling the police over the weekend a young student at Fountain High School was arrested the first day back in school. The police also said “the boy was accused of making similar threats on September 23, but the investigation found no weapons or any means of carrying out the threat, so he wasn't charged. The boy is going to be charged, but for now he is released back to his family. In this article what matters is that the people who got the threats will be able to feel safe again. Another thing that matters is having is family not have to worry about him doing this again. The most important thing that matters is trying to figure out why the boy is trying to do this and to try to help him to not feel this way about these people anymore.

In the article called Kentucky Traveler Dies on a Bus Near Vail by Howard Pankratz, what matters in this article is a man who died. In this article is says that the man got on the bus and another bus rider realized that the man was having a hard time with breathing. The man had collapsed and then another bus rider began to do CPR on the man. Then the paramedics came and they kept trying to revive him, but nothing was working. Then they finally couldn't do anything else, so the Kentucky man died that day. What mattered in this article was trying to bring the man back to life. Another thing that mattered was that the other passengers had to see what happened to that one man. This is what matters in this article.

In this article called Early Morning Fire Guts Aurora Home by Kieran Nicholson, what matters in this article is that everyone is safe. There was a fire in Aurora early in the morning, which fled five people from their home, but no one was hurt. The article states that a 20-year-old man named Trevor Boehm reported missing. Trevor is a freshman at Northwestern’s school for communication and when he did not show up to any of his classes that week everyone started to worry. When a Police officer found Trevor’s jacket, phone, keys, and ID by Lake Michigan, it gave them another reason to matter if he was at the bottom of the lake. What mattes to his family and friends the most is trying to find there loved one and to tell him that his family is still here for him. This is what matters in this article.

In this article called Denver Police Horse Stable Named in Honor of Donor by Kieran Nicholson what matters in this article is how much people care about animals. In the article a women’s generosity gave the patrol really great horses to work with. The women said that she cares so much about animals and it is good that they get a great home. This article reminds me of how I feel about animals. I love animals and after reading this article I felt a lot better about all those unwanted horses. Now I know that a lot of them get a brand new home. In this article called Wheat Ridge Man Charged in Attack on Cat by Ann Schrader, the things that matter in this article is the charges that the cruel man gets for abusing a cat. It is never okay to abuse and assault an animal, especially because you are in a fight with your girlfriend, but a guess that this man from Wheat Ridge did not get that memo. It started out with a man who was in a fight with his girlfriend and decided to take it out on her cat. The man said that he was going to put blood of the cat all over her bathroom and when the police came and there was a lot of blood on the walls the man was not kidding. When the man went to jail he was charged with four felonies and criminal mischief and drunken driving. The man will be in jail for a really long time. The cat who is named Sid is recovering.

In this article called Our Kids as Criminals by the shifts is about what matters to the kids and the effect on the war. In this article some questions that go around are what is the war doing to them? Whom is it making them? How it is making them think and act about normal type of behavior. These questions come up with many people, who are worrying about what is going to happen to kids after hearing war related topics. Another interesting question that was brought up was in a world, in which technology begs all of us to create and spread creative work differently from how it was created and spread before, what kind of moral platform will sustain our kids, when their ordinary behavior is deemed criminal? Who will they become? What other crimes will to them seem natural? These few questions are very important to our society today, because kids today are getting in more trouble for things that they wouldn’t have been in trouble for back in the old days. These questions might worry a lot of adults because then kids will keep getting in a lot of trouble and they will keep getting younger all the time.
